It has been frequently symbolically explored that the house represents the psyche of the mind, what lies in someone’s attic or basement is not what they present on the dining table, or in the bedroom. Working with this underlying emotional representation of architecture, the artists have decided to investigate the structure of the house, but as a hotel. They see the hotel as not just a singular home but a societal one of hidden lusts, polished interfaces, and unspoken fears. The hotel will represent the present day metasphere of society, each room will represent a different lived and psychological position; Private, Public, Rooms with Agency, Rooms with No Agency, Dream Rooms, Fear Rooms, Safe Rooms, Online / Offline Rooms and Rooms without Doors.
