Misappropriated Amenities (2018)

The project consists of an alternative fashion show and a pop-up store. The show follows the tradition of anti-fashion shows of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s and is based on Frentzos’s collections for Spring/Summer 2019. The men’s collection is inspired by the dark atmosphere of public bathrooms and graffiti on ceramic tiles, while the women’s collection takes an ironic approach to hotel linen and décor, transformed into garments. The collections will be presented along with a number of special pieces made from merchandise items Frentzos has designed for AB6. Those pieces will be exhibited at the pop-up store throughout the exhibition, with a video of the fashion show.
